Immigration Psychological Evaluations
We specialize in conducting immigration psychological evaluations (also known as psychosocial evaluations) that bring individuals' unique stories, challenges, and relationships to life. These detailed reports capture the essence of each individual and significantly strengthens court cases, often leading to successful outcomes. Let us help you tell your story.
The Process for Immigration Psychological (Psychosocial) Evaluations
Clients will meet with a licensed psychologist twice, for about 2 hour each time. After the 2nd meeting, a very detailed report will be generated, around 12-15 pages.
If a client is not comfortable speaking English, a professional interpreter will be required to complete the evaluation.
Immigration Psychological Evaluations generally take 4 weeks to complete after the 2nd interview. Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

The objective of the evaluation is to offer a thorough understanding of the individual's mental health and the profound influence that their past experiences have had on their overall well-being.

A psychological evaluation plays a vital role in extreme hardship waiver (I-601 or I-601A) or cancellation of removal cases. It serves as compelling evidence of the significant suffering that a relative would endure if separated from the applicant or forced to relocate to another country to be with them. The evaluation illuminates the emotional and psychological impact, as well as any profound hardship experienced by all parties involved.
-
These evaluations focus on examining the psychological and emotional effects faced by individuals who have survived human trafficking. The main purpose of these assessments is to understand the emotional and psychological impact caused by the experience.
