Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your health care services.

If you do not have insurance or choose not to use insurance, you can request a written estimate of the expected charges for psychological services before scheduling.

If you schedule services at least 3 business days in advance, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate within 1 business day after scheduling.

If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.

Be sure to keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
